The Christian Fischer Wine Estate
Producing fine wines since 1662
Since 1662, the Christian Fischer Wine Estate has been
operating out of the family’s ancestral home, one of the oldest in
the village of Sooß, Austria. At the beginning of the 1980s, after
completing an intensive vintner education programme, Christian Fischer

The Thermal Region
Where the surf of the primeval ocean once ebbed and flowed across
the land, a unique combination of micro-climate, limestone and fertile
brown soil came into being
The Austrian Thermal Region extends from the southern city border of Vienna

Christian Fischer
With wine-growing in his blood, and after graduating of the winegrowing
school in
Klosterneuburg and Krems, Christian Fischer entered his parent’s
firm in 1982 and
has been responsible for wine production since then. Not much later he
excited the
specialists with his first barrel red wine (Pinot Noir 1985).
