Cuvée Die Druidin 2021 BIO

Long before Austria became Austria, Celtic tribes inhabited this land. In ancient Celtic cultures, druids were the highest priestly class.

Becoming a druid was a long and arduous process that could take up to 20 years. The main rule was that sacred knowledge could not be written down. Training was conducted exclusively orally in order to develop the phenomenal memory of the students and to keep the secrets of the order hidden from the uninitiated.

Female druids had the same social status and rights as men. They were not limited to “magic” alone, but were active in public life.

This is a small fragment of the history behind Cuvée Die Druidin. It is not a wine that tries to be loud or heavy, but a wine that evokes a sense of peace. Clean lines, balance, quiet intrigue. It is a wine that makes you slow down for a moment and pay attention to it.

A deep ruby red colour in the glass, already hinting at its complex structure. Intense notes of ripe red fruits such as cherries and raspberries on the nose, with a subtle hint of dark chocolate. Subtle spicy notes and a touch of vanilla round off the picture. Powerful and full-bodied on the palate, with a pleasant texture of ripe tannins.
